John William Bunnell, 81, who lived near Center for the past 36 years, died at 8:40 a.m. in Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been there since April. Ailing for one year, he was serious six weeks. He was born May 31, 1883, near New Richmond to Douglas and Laura Jane Morris Bunnell. He was married to Frannie E. Layne at Greenfield July 3, 1917. He was a farmer and carpenter and attended Center and New Richmond schools. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Murdock of Indianapolis and Mrs. Edith Hillenbarger of New Richmond; four grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. D. H. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. Friends may call at the funeral home.
