New Ross, March 27 - William L. BUECHLER, well-known resident of this place, passed away at his home Friday afternoon at 2:30 of complications. He had been ill for over two weeks. The deceased was born in Montgomery County Jan 16, 1856, the son of Lawrence and Mary Buechler. He was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Norman on Feb 24, 1881. His wife preceded him in death Feb 22, 1931. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Church. He was actively engaged in farming until 14 years ago when he retired. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gertie Farrow and Mrs. Roy Chamberlin, both residing east of New Ross. 3 grandchildren and one brother, SF Buechler of New Ross. Rites will be conducted at the home Sunday afternoon 1 o'clock in charge of Rev. George Farrow, Indianapolis. Burial will be in the New Ross IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] Cemetery. -- typed by kbz
