Homer Buck, who has been in poor health for sometime, died at his home in Frankfort at 3:30 on Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held at the home at 359 North Clay Street this Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Crain of the Presbyterian Church will be in charge and Fred McNutt and Fred Rice will be two of the pall-bearers. He was the son of Phillip and Rebecca Peters Buck and was born at Whitestown, June 16, 1870. His father was a captain in the Civil War. He was married to Jemima Brattain in 1896. She survives with one son, Dan Buck of Columbus, Ohio and two sisters living in Chicago and Lima, Ohio. He has always been connected with railroad work beginning at the age of 14. For the past 26 years he has been with the Pennsylvania RR and at the time of his death was cashier at the Frankfort office. He was in charge of the office here for seven years and made a host of friends. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge & Eastern Star. - kbz
