Herbert Buck, 62, of 119 Campbell St., died Wednesday afternoon in Culver Hospital. He was a retired employe of Mid-States Wire and Nail Co. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge. Born July 25, 1912, near Ladoga, he was a son of Benson and Nora Bailey Buck. He was a graduate of New Market High School and was married to Mary L. Lookabaugh on Oct. 10, 1926, at Williamsport. She survives. Other survivors are a son, Jack of Youngstown, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Surface of rural Ladoga. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Powers Funeral Home with the Rev. Loran Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. - jlr
