Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Wilbert Breaks, a native of north of Crawfordsville, who died Saturday afternoon. Rev. John DeKruyer will officiate. Mrs. Breaks was born and reared in Montgomery county and spent the greater portion of her life here before moving a few years ago to Windfall. She was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl Scudder of Windfall. Her husband and several children preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Windfall. - kbz

Mrs. Flora Breaks, 88, succumbed in Tipton County Hospital at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Pritchard Funeral Home in Windfall, with Rev. Kenneth Fahl officiating and burial and graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday when the body is taken to Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Friends may call anytime at the funeral home where the Windfall OES will conduct rituals at 8 p.m. today. Mrs. Breaks was born August 28, 1875, near Linden, Indiana, the daughter of Sylvester C, and Katherine (Cochran) Morris. She was married February 27, 1895 in Crawfordsville to A. Wilbert Breaks and resided on a farm north of Crawfordsville until 1934 when they moved to a farm north of Windfall. Her husband preceded her in death in 1942. She was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville, the Women's relief Corps in that city where she was a past president of the organization, a member of the Dar also in Crawfordsville, a member of the Windfall OES and of the Windfall Post of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Scudder: six grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. – thanks to Kim H
