Wallace - Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie G. Bruner, lifelong resident of this community were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Wallace Christian Church in charge of Rev. John R. Servies, assisted by Rev. Alen Kieffer. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Bruner died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at her home south of Wallace. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage five months ago. Born July 3, 1879, four miles southeast of Hillsboro, Mrs. Bruner was the daughter of James and Mary E. Moore. She was married Nov 14, 1900 at Hillsboro to William L. Bruner who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Berniece Smith of near Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Bilsland and Mrs. Lillie Elmore of Waynetown; two brothers, Clarence Moore and Raymon Moore, both of near Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Miss Delores Cowan of Indianapolis and Marmaduke Cowan, serving in the US Army at Fort Benning, GA and one great grandchild. – kbz
