Waynetown Jan 31 – Mrs. Laura M. Bruner died of apoplexy at 7:15 o’clock this morning at her home here. She was a daughter of Thomas and Mary Rogers Stephens born May 5, 1871 near Hillsboro, Ind. Her marriage to Joseph Bruner took place in 1895. She was a member of the Christian Church and all her life had been spent at Hillsboro and Waynetown. The survivors include the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Armentrout of Indianapolis; Mrs. Bernhard Kelly of Crawfordsville; three step children, Clarence Bruner of Indianapolis; Mrs. Della Cummings, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Julia Boyle, Peoria, Ill and a half-brother, Clyde Hefner of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Rev. John Series of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial will be made in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kz
