Brumfield - Fred
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 15 March 1901
The bite of a cat was the cause of the death of Fred Brumfield at Russellville Thursday evening. Several weeks ago he picked the cat up, and was bitten on a knuckle by it. Nothing was thought of the matter for a short time but the cat’s poison spread through his system and all efforts to counteract the effects were useless. Mr. Brumfild was twenty five years old and was not married. He died at the home of his father, J. H. Brumfield. -s
