Waynetown, Oct 25 – William A. Brown, 75, Waynetown died at 7 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville after an illness of two weeks. A Spanish-American War veteran, he belonged to the camp at Lebanon. Born in Illinois, he married Alta E. Fruits Nov 27, 1 898 at the Fruits home near Waynetown. He belonged to the Main Street Methodist Church, Kokomo, where he lived 25 years after spending his early life in the Waynetown and New Richmond communities. He lived here for the past 13 years. Survivors besides his widow include a sister, Mrs. David Bruner, Lafayette. - kbz
