Last evening the nineteen year old son of Tom Brown was out with some companions near Alamo exercising horses. Young Brown was in a sulky and started a race down the highway with two or three others. When near the home of James Ingersol, Brown’s sulky was upset and he was thrown to the earth. His companions picked him up lifeless and bore him into the house. He was not dead but was to all appearances. Dr. Hamilton, of Waynetown, was summoned and gave the necessary medical assistance. Young Brown is thought to be fatally injured.
