Loren Brown, better known as “Babe” the young man who worked at the YMCA barber shop in the capacity of porter, for several years, died this morning at his room on Pawpaw street. His demise was due to lung trouble from which he had been ailing for several months. The young man had a wide acquaintance and was well liked. He was 24 years of age. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Revs. Smidt, Tharp and Lookabill officiating. Burial at Oak Hill. – kbz
