Waynetown, Jan 5, 1925 - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth A. Brown who passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elbert Ammerman in Miami, Okla were held Friday afternoon at Wesley Chapel. Mrs. Brown who had resided continuously in Montgomery County prior to going to Oklahoma about two years ago was one of the most highly respected women in her community and was exception because of her knowledge of the Bible
The Rev. GE Tremaine officiated. Solos: Abide with Me, No Night There and Whispering Hope were sung by Miss Mary Helen Remley accompanied by Mrs. Verne Remley. Pall bearers were Lonnie Brown, Linden; Howard Brown, Forrest TItus, Edson Fink, Crawfordsville; Harry Clark, Waveland and Howard Clark, Catlin, Ill. Flowers were carried by Mrs. Forrest Titus, Mrs. Charles Grimes, Crawfordsville; Miss Lucille Fishero and Miss Helen Nelson, Veedersburg. Burial took place in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – kbz
