Brown, Inez - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Inez Brown, 67 died at her home on the Airport Road south of Crawfordsville Monday night after an illness of only a few hours.  Mrs. Brown was born near Wallace, Aug 16, 1886 the daughter of Henry Jacob and Mary McGinnis Starnes. She was married Nov 13, 1919 to Branch C. Brown. Mrs. Brown attended school at Wallace. Following her marriage most of her married life was spent in or near Crawfordsville.  Her husband was a farmer. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Charles H. Brown, David A. Brown and Ogden O. Brown all of Crawfordsville; one daughter, Miss Dora M. Brown, Augusta, GA; three brothers, Allen Starns, Pennfield, Ill; Ivan Starns, Crawfordsville and Vernon of Browns Valley and six grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Brown in death were two brothers, Versie Starns and Irvin Starns, one sister, Mrs. Annia Philpott and one infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth. Funeral services were held at the Bright Funeral Home, Thursday. – kbz
