Brookshire - Emma Jane

Brookshire, Emma Jane, 80, a lifelong resident of the Roachdale-Ladoga community, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dode Crodian south of Ladoga. Final rites were held at the Roachdale Presbyterian Church Saturday, with burial in the Roachdale Cemetery. Mrs. Brookshire was born North of New Ross on 17 December 1863, the daughter of George and Virginia Thompson Myers. She was married to Thomas D. Brookshire of Ladoga on 27 November 1887. He passed away several years ago. Surviving besides the daughter are a son, Carl Brookshire of Roachdale; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Gill of Crawfordsville; two brothers, John Myers, Lima, Ohio, and Frank Myers of Lebanon; two grandsons, Thomas Crodian of Ladoga and Edward D. Brookshire of Madison; one Great Grandson, James Taylor Crodian of Ladoga. - mw - thanks so much !
