Virginia Lou Briney, 83, Crawfordsille, died 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center.  Mrs. Briney formerly owned Bob-A-Lou restaurant, the Mustang Room Restaurant at Veedersburg and Sky Valley Inn near Hillsboro.  Her memberships included Alamo Order of Eastern Star, where she was a 63-year member, Hillsboro Nazarene Church and she attended Victory Fellowship Church, Hillsboro. She was a 1936 CHS graduate. She was born Aug 31, 1918 at Elmdale to Asa and Pearl Dazey Humphreys. She married Robert Briney March 24, 1953. He died Dec 9, 1990.  Survivors include a stepson, Robert L. Briney, Jr. Albany, Ky and two grandsons. Two sisters, ioline Raymond and Ruby Burditt, are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. - kbz

Crawfordsville - Virginia Lou Briney,  83, died 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center. She was born Aug 31, 1918 in Elmdale was a 1936 Crawfordsville HS graduate and formerly resided in Hillsboro.  She formerly owned the Bob-A-Lou and Mustang Room restaurants in Veedersburg and Ski Valley Inn near Hillsboro.  On March 24, 1953 she married Robert Briney and he died Dec 9, 1990.  Mrs. Briney was a member of Hillsboro Nazarene Church and attended Victory Fellowship Church of Hillsboro She also was a 63-year-member of Alamo Chapter Order of Eastern Star.  SUrviving is a stepson, Robert L. Briney Jr. of Albany, KY. - kbz

"Funeral Notices" -- Briney, Virginia Lous - Calling from 9 a.m. Friday until funeral at 11 a.m. in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Ruth Briney of Albany KY; 2 grandsons, Robert L. Briney III and Matthew K. Briney of Albany; a nephew and a niece.  Preceded in death by two sisters, Ioline Raymond and Ruby Burditt. - kbz
