Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal 5 April 1895 p 12
Died, at her home in Philo, Ill., Mrs. Elenore Brown Bridges. Mrs. Bridges was the daughter of John Stover and was born and raised on the site of the Stover Mill, two miles north of the city. Her first husband’s name was Brown. He having died, she married a man by the name of Bridges and moved to Illinois, where she died a few days ago of dropsy. She was 43 years old and was well and favorably known throughout the country. She leaves a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn her loss; but their loss is her gain. Mrs. Bridges was a niece of Mrs. Abner Gerard, on East Jefferson Street, at whose house she made her home a part of the time during her widowhood. -s
