Mrs. Lucille Brumit, 58, daughter of a Crawfordsville woman died Saturday in her residence, 419 N. Keyston Avenue, Indianapolis. She had resided in Indianapolis since 1934. Mrs. Brumit was born Jan 11, 1912 to David H. and Delia Booher Emmert in Boone County near Advance. She married Samuel A. Brumit. Mrs. Brumit graduated from Advance HS. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was supervisor of the order edit section of the Emblem Division at American Legion National Headquarters. Mrs. Brumit was the National Secretary of Les Femmes, the Women's Auxiliary Of The 40 And 8 and a past President of Robert Linehan American Legion Post 465 Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; her mother; Mrs. Emmert of Crawfordsville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Kathlen Long; Mrs. Bernice Miller; Mrs. Merle McCoy. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel, 2050 E. Michigan St, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Washington Park East. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday. - kbz
