Merle K. BROWN formerly in business with his brother, Fred died at his home in New Market on Tuesday. He did not live here, however and after Fred moved to Crawfordsville he continued in business with his father, James Brown, now dead. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lulu Warbritton Brown, and one son, Clayton. He was a member of the New Market Christian Church, where services on this after are in charge of Rev. Luke Bolin. Death resulted from heart trouble. -- typed by kbz
