Mrs. Grace M. Brown, 90, of 301 Jennison St., one of the oldest members of the First Baptist Church, died Saturday morning in Ben Hur Nursing Home, where she had resided a short time. Mrs. Brown was born in the house at 301 Jennison St., where she had made her home up until the time she became a patient at the nursing home. Born May 17, 1886, at Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Francis and Mary Jane Crane Nichols. She was married at Bloomington, Ill., to William N. Brown. He died in 1923. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Carolyn) Pumroy of Crawfordsville, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a half-sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - jlr
