Waynetown April 29, 1905 - Friday morning at 9 o'clock Uncle Joe Brown died at his home 5 miles southwest of here at the advanced age of 77. He was born in 1828 in Hamilton County, Ohio from which place he moved to Fountain County, Indiana when yet a young man. He is the father of 7 children: JA and Henry living here, William in Texas, Mrs. Charlie Blackford, Mrs. Annie Wallace, Mrs. Rose Miller and one daughter at home who kept house for him. The funeral services occurred Sunday afternoon at 1:30 by Elder A. Plunkett. Interment in Masonic cemetery here.
