Ladoga, Sept 1 - Word was received here Saturday from Seattle, Washington reporting the death of Mrs. Amanda Harshbarger BROOKSHIRE, a former resident of this place. Mrs. Brokshire died in her home very suddenly after a stroke of apoplexy. She was born June 17, 1856, near Ladoga, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Harshbarger. In 1883 she was married to Vorhees Brookshire, who died five years ago. Mrs. Harshbarger was a member of the Christian Science Church in Washington and a member of the Ladoga Eastern Star. Surviving are four nieces in this vicinity, Mrs. Lula Goshorn of near Ladoga; Mrs. KG Stickler of New Market; Mrs. JE Mangus of Lafayette and Mrs. Sam Evans of near Crawfordsville. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
