Mrs. Gertie Brooks, aged 16 years died at 1 p.m. Jan 8 at the residence of her grandfather, TJ Francis of typhoid malaria. The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock last Sunday conducted by Rev. GP Fuson. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.- transcribed by kbz
