Mrs. Barbara Jane Britsch, 84, passes away quietly early Sunday morning after a long illness at the home of her son, Homer Britsch of Warm Beach. Mrs. Britsch (nee Odell) who was born in Indiana, was united in marriage with John Britsch on March 18, 1875. To this union were born nine children; seven survive; four sons, J. Homer Britsch and Henry Britsch of Warm Beach, W.L. Britsch of Surrey, North Dakota and Guy Britsch of Minot, North Dakota and three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Woodliff, of Minot, North Dakota, Mrs, Della Irons of Rugby, North Dakota, and Mrs. Maude Emmert of Jamestown, Indiana are her surviving children. Seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren survive. Her husband who died in 1903, a daughter, Mrs H.A. Bomgardner of Warm Beach and an infant son, preceded her . Accompanied by those of her children, who were still at the family home, Mrs. Britsch moved from Indiana to North Dakota in the spring of 1906 and in 1919 accompanied by her son, Henry, came to Seattle, whee they resided until they moved to Warm Beach in 1929. She was a faithful member of the church of the Brethren for over forty years, and will be sadly missed by relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Community church at Warm beach with Rev. J.L. Teeter of Burlington, officiating. Interment was made in the Anderson cemetery, under the direction of C.J. Gunderson and son, funeral directors. - thanks to Kim H
