NEW MARKET - Mrs. Odessa M. Brewer, 59, wife of Paul Brewer, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday in the family home, two miles west of Ladoga. She had been ill several years with a heart ailment. Born September 29, 1900, Mrs. Brewer was the daughter of David and Ethel White Douglas. She was born at New Market. She married Mr. Brewer in 1931. Mrs. Brewer was a member of the New Market Methodist Church and New Market Pythian Sisters. Surviving besides the husband, are a son, David Brewer, of Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Boilman of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Pauline Ward and Mrs. Ninalee Davidson, both of near Crawfordsville; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Reams of Fulton, Indiana, and a step-mother. Mrs. Maude Douglas of New Market. Friends may call at the Noble Reeves Funeral Home in New Market beginning at noon Friday. Arrangements for the services are incomplete. - kbz
