The following from a Lima, Ohio newspaper will interest our readers as Mr. Bressler made his home here with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fickenworth for quite a while. William Bressler, pioneer resident of Allen County, died early Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clara Hartzog, 116 N. McDonel street following an illness of a year. Surviving are thee daughters, Mrs. Hartzog at whose home he died, Mrs. LB Martin of Lakewood, O and Mrs. EE Fickenworth of Lebanon, Ind; a son, WD Bressler of Lima, a sister, Mrs. James Seebers of Middlepoint and three brothers, Henry, John and DA Bressler all of Lima, 8 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death 11 years, 2 days and 10 hours. Mr. Bressler was 81 years 10 months 2 days old at the time of his death. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence of Mrs. Hartzog. The Rev. AW Ballinger will officiate. Burial will be at Bressler Cemetery, 5 miles east of Lima on the High Street Road. - kbz
