– Friends and relatives of Amos Gilbert BREAKS gathered at the Masonic Temple Saturday afternoon where they attended funeral services for the well known citizen. For two and a half hours prior to the services the body lie in state at the temple. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. CL Airhart with the Masonic Lodge taking part in the services. The burial was made to the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Breaks died at his home here Thursday after an illness of several months with heart trouble. For many years he had been secretary of the Masonic lodge and served two terms as county assessor. The pall bearers were sol Tannenbaum; Glenn Coppage; Harry Fine; George Durham; Dumont Kennedy and John Jackman. Flower bearers included: Mrs. Herbert Heslar; Mrs. Fred Houlehan; Mrs. Emily Kennedy Pearce; Miss Maude Foster; Miss Virginia Wooldridge and Miss Elizabeth Stubbins. - kbz
