Miss Bessie R. Bradley, 79, a former Montgomery County school teacher, died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Hospital at Washington, D.C., after an illness of several months. Miss Bradley was a graduate of Darlington High School. After teaching in this area, she moved to Washington in 1917 where she was a federal government employe until retiring. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Business Women's Club at Washington. A Montgomery County native, she was born Aug. 26, 1891, a daughter of Joe and Olive Bradley. Surviving are an uncle, Harry Flaningan of Crawfordsville; two cousins, Marie Liter and Norman Conrad, both of Crawfordsville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Jump officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday. Rites were conducted in Washington today.--waw
