Phyllis M. Boyland, 80, formerly of 1119 N 10th St, died at 6 a.m. Monday Dec 13, 1999 in St. Anthony’s Healthcare Center. She was born on May 9, 1919 in Crawfordsville and had been a resident of Lafayette since 1955, coming from Chicago. She graduated from Whitefish Bay HS in Wisconsin. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She also was a telephone operator for Senior Citizen Center and had been employed with Meals on Wheels. She was interested in NASA and space exploration. She is survived by a sister, Rosemary Boyland of Lafayette. – kbz
