Mrs. Cynthia Boswell, the mother of John and James Boswell died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. EV Boyd in Manhattan, Kansas on Monday of last week. Interment at Bloomingdale on Thursday after funeral services at the Christian Church. Mrs. Boswell was a sister of the late Mrs. James Scott and an aunt of Charles Scott, former publisher of The Independent. – kbz
