Booher - Billy - 1883

One of our oldest citizens, Uncle Billy Booher closed his earthly existence on the 28th of June at the advanced age of 84 years. His life verifies the saying that “an honest man is the noblest work of God,” for Wm. Booher was but another name for honestly. In all the relations of life he was genial and pleasant, even down to old age and Uncle Billy as he was familiarly known, was one of the few who grew old gracefully. The cords of affection woven in the hearts of his friends now twine with graceful, loving folds round his memory. His relatives have the earnest sympathy of all, in their bereavement.
