Waynetown - Leland Bolen, 64, Waynetown, a retired county highway employee died Sunday in Culver hospital at Crawfordsville after being stricken at his home. A life resident of this community he was a member of Liberty Chapel Community Church. Born May 30, 1914 at Waynetown he was the son of George and Mary Harris Bolen. He was graduated from Waynetown HS in 1932. He was married in 1933 to Faye Hutchison. She died in 1973. Survivors are a son, Tom of Wingate; a daughter, Mrs. Fred "Analee" Pittman of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Merrill of Crawfordsville; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wed in Thomas Funeral Home here with Rev. Robert Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
