Dr. Howard L. Boyland, 83, of Lafayette, a native of Crawfordsville, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was the former owner and operator of Boyland Hospital Supply Co. at Lafayette. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Lafayette and the Exchange Club. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gordon Howell and Mrs. Emil Shadrick, both of Chicago, Phyllis and Rosemary Boyland, both of Lafayette; a sister, Evelyn Hubbell of Deltona, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Zahn-Schneider Funeral Home at Lafayette with the Rev. David Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. Friday.--waw
