John Bowman, 56, farmer, living 3/4 mile East of Grange Corner died suddenly at his home Monday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock victim of a heart attack. Mr. Bowman was born September 22, 1882 near Wallace, son of Jacob & Barbara E. Basham Bowman and on Dec 12, 1905 was married to Millie E. Summers of Wallace. He is survived by his wife; one son, Harold F. of Waveland; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel E. Moffett of Kingman and Vera Bowman at home; one grandson, Ronald Moffett; one brother, Ernest Bowman of Kingman; two sisters, Mrs. Ura Hamm of Hillsboro and Mrs. Bessie Keller, of Crawfordsville; and one half sister, mrs. Zula Livengood of near Wallace. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock Thursday a.m. from Wolf Creek Church near Wallace. Rev. John Servies officiated and burial was in the Cemetery near the church. - typed by kbz
