David Bowman, 63, life long Jackson Twp farmer, died at his home near Wallace on Sunday, Dec. 18 (1938). He was the son of Dennis and Laura Bowman and was born on a farm near Wallace July 21, 1875. Surviving are the widow, Edna, two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Green, Veedersburg; and Mrs. Lillie mcGinnis, Byron; five brothers, Nelson, Henry and Samuel Bowman, Wallace, Alva, Veedersburg, and George, Frankfort. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at Wallace, with the Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
