Robert BOWERS, 53, of 714 S. Water was found dead at approximately 6 p.m. Monday at the Montgomery County Sales Pavilion, where he had worked for many years. Coroner Russell Powers said Bowers had taken his own life. He was born Sept 9, 1920, a son of Vernon and Willa Baber Bowers. Surviving are his mother, and a sister, Betty of Indianapolis. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Buser officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - kbz
