Walker W. Boraker aged 67 years expired of complications following a four years' illness at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday evening at his farm home 4 miles west of Crawfordsville. Mr. Boraker was born in Montgomery County Jan 7, 1867 the son of Elkehnah and Lyda Boraker. The deceased was never married. He was a member of the IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] Lodge of Crawfordsville and the carpenters' union. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Charles Douglas, who resides at her brother's home, and Mrs. Van Kennedy and Mrs. George Swank, both of Crawfordsville; and a brother, Morton Boraker, Crawfordsville. The parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Mt. Zion Church in charge of Rev. John Servies of near Crawfordsville. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. - kbz
