-- Lawrence BOOTS, 52, of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville co-owner of Boots Bros Oil company here died at 12:50 p.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He was a member of New Market Christian Church, Alamo Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star and Republican precinct commiteeman and advisory board member for Brown 2. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville HS. Mr. Boots was born near Crawfordsville Nov 26, 1928, son of Wallace and Merle Buskirk Boots. He married Stella Bell Jan 26, 1951. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert and Michael, a brother, Sam, a sister, Mrs. Lois Carroll and a granddaughter. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home, New Market with Revs. Robert Miller and Dean Phillips officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery South. Friends may call at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 8 o'clock tonight. - absolutely loved this guy :) What a wonderful person -- kbz
