-- Uncle Asa Boots died at the home of his son, George Boots Monday morning at 6 o'clock. He was 83 years old. He was not afraid to die he said and the time would soon come. Sunday night he told them where to put his clothes so he would know where to get them the next morning but Uncle Asa's spirit had fled to his home beyond. He leaves one son, two daughters, 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn his loss. He was loved by all who knew him. His funeral was preached Tuesday at Potato Creek. kbz
