Friends of Mrs. Tamson Manker Booher, a former resident have learned of her death, which occurred Oct. 29 in Pasadena, Calif., where she had made her home for more than 40 years. Mrs. Booher was born in Darlington 86 years ago. Her father, Dr. I.E.G. Naylor, was one of the early physicians in Darlington. Her mother was Celista Huffman Naylor, who had been reared in this community. From early childhood, Mrs, Booher had been a member of the Methodist Church. While here she was a church organist and was instrumental in organizing the Mozart Club. After moving to Pasadena, she was church organist there for many years. Her marriage to Edward Booher took place in Darlington more than 50 years ago. He preceded her in death, as did two brothers, George and John Naylor and four sisters, Mrs, Ida Rhorer, Mrs. Ella Howard, Mrs. Julia Adair and Miss Harriett Naylor. Survivors include a son, Mack Booher; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Bliven, both living in California, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial were in Pasadena. - kbz
