Darlington – Joseph Walter Booher, 82, a native of this community died Sunday noon in Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle, after having been in failing health several years. He was a farmer south of Bainbridge. Born near Darlington, he was married in 1904 to Nora Belle Trippett of near Darlington. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Bainbridge. Surviving with the widow are a son, Byron of Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Naomi Stanley, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Pauline Pursell, Greencastle and Miss Louise Booher at home and three brothers, Jasper, Alva and Frank.
