New Ross - Jasper Booher, 86, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Witham Hospital at Lebanon where he had been a patient one day. He had been in failing health several months. Mr. Booher had made his home in this community the past three months. He had lived at Darlington 20 years before moving here and lived on a farm near Oaklandon prior to moving to Darlington. Born Feb. 3, 1876, near Darlington, he was a son of Henry Milton and Ruth Booher Booher. He was married in 1908 to Snow Little. They were married near Darlington. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Frank Booher of Mace and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Russell and Hitch Funeral Home in Thorntown. Rev. A. L. Vermillion will be in charge. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery near Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home.
