Mrs. Malinda Booe, a native of Fountain County died Dec 21 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, she having been in failing health 5 years and in a serious condition a few days. She was born May 13, 1862 the daughter of Solomon & Elizabeth Livengood. She was 1st married to Manly Booe in Fountain County on Oct 18, 1888 and after his death on May 4, 1919 she was married to Noah Elmer Booe of Crawfordsville on May 17, 1922. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geo P. Maxwell of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Belle McKee of Hillsboro; and one brother, Ora M. Livengood of Covington. Funeral services were held at Hunt & Son in last Thursday with burial in the Masonic cemetery. - kbz

A native of Fountain County, Mrs. Malinda Jane Booe, 81 of Crawfordsville died at Culver Hospital Tuesday. She had been in failing health since 1938, and seriously ill since Sunday. Funeral service was held from the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Paul Million, of the First Christian Church of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Booe was born May 13, 1862, the daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth Livengood and was first married to Manley Booe in Fountain County Oct 18, 1888. He died May 4, 1919. Her second marriage was to Noah Elmer Booe, May 17, 1922 of Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors are: one daughter, Mrs. George P. Maxwell of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Belle McKee, of Hillsboro; one brother, Ora M. Livengood of Covington. A son, Arnet E. Booe died in 1918. ---transcribed by kbz
