Harriette B. BOLSER, daughter of Ellis and Neoma
Fletcher Little was born in Green County, Ohio April 13, 1850. When she
was 3 years of age the family moved to Montgomery County, Indiana and
located on a farm on the Perrysville Road 5 miles west of Yountsville.
Here she grew to womanhood and Nov 18, 1870 she was united in marriage
to Frank Bolser (Balser?) and began housekeeping in Alamo. After a short
residence here she and her husband moved to a farm adjoining that of
her father, where she and her husband continued to live until his death
Oct 24, 1904. A shor6t time after the death of her husband she moved to
Waynetown and continued to reside there until her passing. She had been
in declining health for the past year. Four weeks ago she was taken to
Culver Hospital where her true condition was learned and while every
effort was put forth to prolong her life, yet it was without avail, for
in the evening hours of Tuesday Dec 3, she passed peacefully away at age
79 year 7 months 20 days, leaving to mourn on sister, Mrs. Laura Ellis
of Waynetown; one brother, Guy Little of near Waynetown, other relatives
and friends limited only by those of her acquaintance. She was a good
woman, kind to all with whom she came in contact and anxious to live at
all times so that she would not be a trouble or burdern upon those wom
she loved and those who loved her. Anticipating that the end was near,
she had made many arragnements for that event and stated that she was
willing to go if her time had been lived and so she passed on to the
unknown, to meet with those who have gone on before. she will be much
missed by her neighbors, friends and relatives, but it will be a sweet
memory of a splendid life lived, which has contributed to the welfare of
others. She has gone unto her reward and may peace be unto her departed
soul. = typed by kbz
