Waynetown - George Bolen, 81, who before his retirement was a farmer in Hamilton County, then in Illinois and finally near Waynetown died Monday at 7:15 p.m at his home here. He had been in failing health for two years following a stroke. Born in Hamilton County on april 22, 1873, he was the son of John and Ellen Hall Bolen. On Aug 29, 1892, he married Mary V. Harris. He was a member of State Line Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Forrest and Leland, both of near Waynetown; two daughters, Mrs. Ancil Merrell of Waynetown and Mrs. Russell Hayes of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home, Rev. Guy Walter officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. kbz
