Raymond L. Blessing, 93, of Crawfordsville died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday in Culver Union Hospital.
He retired in 19969 as a foreman for Conrail Railroad, where he had worked for more than 30 years. He was educated in Montgomery and Hendricks County schools.
He was born October 5, 1897, at Oxford to Elmer M. and Mary E. Maloney Blessing.
Survivors include a son, Gordon of Kingman; a daughter, Mrs. Marion (Maxine) Stevens of Crawfordsville; a sister, Catherine Servies of Crawfordsville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-=grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren.
Two great-grandchildren are deceased.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. John Stacey officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery at New Market. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
