KINGMAN - Gordon L. Blessing, 59, of Kingman died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in Houston Health Care.
Mr. Blessing was a self-employed truck driver. He also farmed and raised horses.
He was a member of the Alamo Masonic Lodge 144. He was educated in Alamo Schools.
He was born July 1, 1936(7), in Montgomery County to Raymond and Mabel Rhodes (Rhoades) Blessing. He married Brenda M. Linton September 5, 1956 in Rensselaer. She died in 1974.
Survivors include three sons, Jackie of New Ross, Greg and Timothy, both of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Darren (Cynthia) Foreman of Crawfordsville; a sister, Maxine Stevens of New Market; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday in Powers-Priebe Funeral Home at New Market with the Rev. John Stacy officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery at New Market. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Masonic Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on today.
