Uncle John Blue passed to the higher life at his home, 3 miles south of Linden last Thursday. The remains were interred at Darlington Saturday. He leaves a wife and three children and a host of friends. His age was 77 years. The memories in the minds of all who met him is the most fitting monument to mark his life that can be accorded to any man.- kbz

The funeral of John Blue, brother of S, K. Blue, passed through here on the way to Darlington Saturday. Neither of his two brothers was able to attend the funeral. -s
