Mrs. Byrde Blaser, 86, of 705 S. Washington St., a retired office employee at Wabash College, died Sunday in Lane House. Before working at Wabash, she had been employed at Indianapolis for several years. She was a 1910 graduate of New Market High School and a graduate of Madame Blake's at Indianapolis. She was born at St. Joe, Ill., on Aug. 13, 1889, a daughter of Frank M. and Charlotte Bowers Hoss. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jack Stalling of Cincinnati, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - jlr
