Chilson Marion Bishop, 55, office manager for Fishero and Fishero Inc. contractors, died at 5 a.m. Friday. He suffered a heart seizure at his residence, 409 Hughes St., and was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital. Mr. Bishop was active in the Elks lodge and at the time of his death was serving as district deputy grand exalted ruler, Indiana West District, and second vice president of the district. He also was a past exalted ruler of Crawfordsville Lodge No. 483. Mr. Bishop was a member of the First Christian Church of Crawfordsville and a past president of the Indiana Bowlers Association. Born May 6, 1914, at Ridge Farm, Ill., Mr. Bishop was the son of James P. and Carrie Hawkins Bishop. He married Mary League June 23, 1940. Mrs. Bishop is director of the Crawfordsville Public Library. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Bujaki of Raleigh, S.C., and Mrs. David McCuen of Flint, Mich.; a son, Chilson Bishop II of Lafayette; three brothers, Leon Bishop of Fort Wayne, Donald Bishop of Marion and Rex Bishop of Sheridan, Wyo. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church with Rev. Howard F. Miller officiating. In accordance with Mr. Bishop's wishes, his body has been donated to medical science. Mr. Bishop's family said that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Fund. - jlr
