Mrs. Nora Elizabeth Biddle, 82, of 712 Sloan St., died Monday night at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for several weeks. A native of Wingate, Mrs. Biddle was born Feb. 3, 1884, the daughter of Harvey and Drusilla Willhite. Mrs. Biddle was a graduate of Wingate High School. She married Homer E. Biddle on March 26, 1902. Mrs. Biddle was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crawfordsville since 1911 and had been active in the church through the years as a Sunday School Teacher and choir member. Survivors include a son, Ernest L. Biddle of Crawfordsville; a grandson, Richard L. Biddle of Crawfordsville, and a great-granddaughter, Cynthia Biddle of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elsie E. Brown of Valparaiso and Mrs. Bertha M. McArty of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Milo Riggs will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
